My husband has 3 male members on his fathers side of the family who have had this disease (including his father) . We have only just found out so we are trying to find out how much at risk the other family members are.

      No, it is not hereditary. Like many other diseases, Parkinson’s disease is likely to be the result of a complex interaction between both genetic and environmental factors.

      There are few tests that will be carried out to confirm Parkinson’s like CT scan and MRI scan.

      I would suggest you visit a neurologist and have a discussion with the neurologist who will be the right person to guide you and help you with your concerns.
