Mizzdemeanor asked:

He is a samoyed and shepherd mis, and he shakes his frantically sometimes like those old people with parkinsons, and sometimes he doesn’t, I believe it could be for attention, cause all I’ve heard is of older dogs doing it, anyone have good input except for “take it to the vet” cause I have an appointment already for those of you who just want ur dumb little points

Good that you have an appointment set to bring your dog into the vet.
Since the dog shakes like “parkinsons” as you put it….one disorder that has the same type of tics/tremors is cerebellur abiotrophy. This is a genetic disorder though is fairly rare. Occurs when the cerebellum doesn’t continue to grow and develop after the puppy has been born. Signs usually spring up a year- year and a half of age.

Only a vet can diagnose what is wrong with your dog but wanted to give a possibility.

It could be anything. Shaking can be a sign of kidney failure, low blood sugar, seizure disorders, even dog-equivalent forms of parkinson’s.

When he does that is there a reason that he could be nervous, anxious, or scared? That could be why.
