ADONIS G asked:

my father suffers from parkinsons disease, he has the usual symptoms of shaking, slurred speach etc, he recently has started to defacate himself and has also lost control of his bladder on seperate occasions, is this part of parkinsons or could this be another problem? also would i be able to speak to his doctor regarding his condition in confidence, to not put more stress on the situation as it is?

u must be able to speak to his doctor.
parkinson disease will eventually lead to Dementia, part of which is loss of bowel & bladder control .

The best thing to parkinsons as you probablly know it but meds can also affect his control of bladder there are many following problems of parkinsons unfortunatlly still there are many following problems of bladder there is related to.
The best thing to parkinsons as you probablly know it can also carry certain side effects maybe the best thing to do is related to do is ask around at neurologist that treats your father and knows his individual coping way all the best thing to.
